Spring is here and we want to spend more time outside and less time in the kitchen - I hear you! That is why these no bake chocolate peanut butter granola bites are the perfect snack, especially this time of year. No waiting for the oven to heat up or complicated steps involved!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup oats
1/4 cup oat flour
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup Coconut oil
1 T maple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, mix oats, oat flour, a pinch of sea salt, a pinch of cinnamon, melted coconut oil and maple syrup.
Press 2/3 of the mixture in lined cupcake tray or baking tray. Place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
In the meantime, melt dark chocolate and stir in peanut butter.
Spread the choc peanut butter layer over the oat layer and sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top (not pictured). Place in the freezer again for 10-15 minutes and that's it!
